Dark Matter eLiquid
Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.
Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.
Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Summary: "Dealing with insecurity as (Indian) immigrants"
I absolutely loved this book. Behind the story, this book is about the mass of feelings and contradictions that immigrants, specifically Indian immigrants feel upon coming to the US (or any other Western country, I would imagine). If you liked the book, Namesake (Jhumpa Lahiri's book) where the couple could not let go of their 'Indian-ness' (I know a number of immigrants to whom everything in India is the best and everything in the US is mediocre), this book is about the other extreme with Suneel wanting to completely forego his previous identity and become 'white American' (again, true of many Indian yuppies). Most of us swing between these two extremes when we first arrive until we gain the self-confidence to be just us. Suneel's behavior is very disturbing but, if we are honest with ourselves, reflects our own thoughts at times - at least for me, it was a beautifully portrayed character stereotype that we should be aware to avoid in ourselves.

Summary: "This book makes me hungry"
I really enjoyed this book. The story was well written and flowed easily. What impressed me most, is that this book made me hungry. Every time I cracked this book open, the author's descriptions of food made my mouth water. Since reading this book, I have learned to cook many new Indian dishes, I was so inspired.

Summary: "Only Enh! - **SPOILERS!!**"
It's harder to write a review of this book than i thought it would be when i bought it. I'd picked up the book thinking this is definitely something i'll love, and to some extent I guess I did. But only to some extent. The book is written well, moves well, good enough pace, well defined character, with plenty of details to make me believe the author has actually been to India, and understands the people. The part I didn't care for was the fact that its so incredibly predictable. I did like that all ends well, but the way we get to the end.... ugh, I wish I could say I liked it.
From the beginning you know the guy's a loser, so i accepted him at that. I even get the fact that there may be pressures on him that most non-indians might not find quite believable, but it actually is possible. I liked the girl, she seemed like a strong character, like the Indian women I know and grew up surrounded by, strong and silent, ready to take on the challenges. What I didn't like was the familiar and easy patterns the characters fell into. Why must everyone act like a victim? Oh poor me, i got forced into marrying a woman I barely know. Oh poor me, I'm stuck with a loser husband, even though I'm written like a strong woman who has the ability to leave him. Oh poor me, my boyfriend is not only turning me into a mistress... he has the nerve to come back to me after he went and got married to another woman! Oh poor me, my wife I didn't want, is pregnant and wants to keep the baby. Oh poor me, i might as well stick it out. Yea they ended up together but does anyone see that relationship as healthy or even lasting? Yea he chose his wife at the end but what was his actual motivation for that.. guilt AGAIN! Isn't that how he ended up in the marriage to begin with? How is that the resolution?
I guess I liked the characters, and the descriptions of India, certain chapters, but as a whole the book was a let down, old predictable story, and much too much guilt driven victim mentalities. Like I said, I REALLY WANTED to like the book as a whole. I just wish the Good Indian Wife wasn't such a stereotypical cliche. =\

Summary: "Absolutely loved it!!!"
I love reading books by Indian authors and when I picked this book up, I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The characters of the books are very real and interesting. The story moved at a great pace and the subject of an arranged marriage was handled beautifully. The 2 central characters were very real people with their own flaws and human emotions. Suneel is a character many Indian NRI men will be able to associate with, the choices and non-choices of life, how to balance their independent thinking along with their family's traditional values and expectations. Leila was a woman I admired right from page one of the book. She is strong and faced up to all the challenges that life threw at her. Absolutely loved this book by Anne Cherian and I would strongly recommend reading it.
